Legătura dintre cultura organizațională și performanță în liceele din România

Abstract

Organizational culture is known to influence nearly every aspect of an organization. This study aims to explore whether there is a connection between culture and performance in Romanian high schools. To measure culture, we will use the Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI) and conduct surveys in schools across Cluj-Napoca to identify key indicators of success within this group. This is an exploratory study, with an additional goal of validating the OCAI tool in this context.

Performance will be assessed in two main ways: by evaluating employee satisfaction and by measuring the rate of student promotion. A central question emerges: which factor is more influential – employee satisfaction, which can foster a more effective learning environment, or the direct rate of student success? This study examines how both the current organizational culture and the desired culture affect these success indicators. Ideally, a strong organizational culture supports both high employee satisfaction and student achievement. Since students’ interactions with an institution often start with its people, a motivated and satisfied staff may well lead to better student outcomes.
