Abstract

In a perpetually shifting global context, where unpredictability reigns supreme, governments and local authorities must forge robust connections with the pivotal actors within their communities. This endeavor is instrumental in cultivating innovation, fortifying resilience, and catalyzing sustainable development. In this context, the utilization of models such as the triple, quadruple, quintuple, or sextuple helices is imperative to facilitate the aforementioned collaborations.

However, this endeavor necessitates a comprehensive understanding of their functionality and optimal utilization in aligning with objectives and requirements. In this sense, the present article tries to provide a concise introduction to the evolution of the Triple Helix and its forms, thereby serving as a foundational resource for the implementation of such models at the local level. This endeavor is further motivated by the need to identify the key actors within our respective communities.
