Accesarea fondurilor europene prin Programul Operațional Competitivitate de către universități, în perioada 2014–2020
Abstract
In 2022, Romania’s presence in the European Union is a reality that surrounds us everywhere, our actions as a country are strategically designed in the European context, and more than 15 years after our accession to this strategic economic structure, we cannot imagine our development out of the context of the European Union. However, the road to EU membership and then to EU integration has been neither easy, nor lacking in controversy.
For the 2014-2020 period, the Competitiveness Operational Program was the one that supported the investments that responded to the needs and challenges related to the low level of economic competitiveness, especially in research, development, and innovation but also in information and communication technology. The Competitiveness Operational Program managed by the Managing Authority for the Competitiveness Operational Program benefited from a funding of 1.829.787.234 Euro.
The purpose of this article is to showcase the participation of Romanian public universities to the Competitiveness Operational Program and to analyze the main objectives that were funded between 2014 and 2020.
