Cultură organizațională în universități

Adrian HUDREA, Loredana ANDRIEVICI

Abstract

There has been a lot of progress and research in private organizations regarding organizational culture, but not so much in the public sector, very few in universities and almost none in Romanian universities. The present article analyzes the organizational culture of two Romanian universities using the theoretical model developed by Kim Cameron and Robert Quinn (Competing Values Framework - OCAI). The main question we seek to answer is whether there are important cultural differences between different Romanian Universities and whether there are different cultures (or subcultures) inside those organizations, comparing different departments inside the same college.
