Les relations de la Commision Europeenne Jacques Delors avec l'Association Europeenne de Libre Echange. La creation de l'Espace Economique Europeen
Abstract
The subject of this article is the relation between Jacques Delors European Commission and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) during 1985-1995 and the creation of the Economic European Space (EEE). These relations were focused on the economic aspects, due to the fact that Economic European Community and the European Free Trade Association were two opposites economics blocks. The struggle between EEC and EFTA was over during Jacques Delors terms as head of the European Commission with the accession of three EFTA's countries in the EEC. The EEC victory is the consequence of its political implications and not only its economic implications like in the EFTA case.
