Promovarea destinațiilor turistice urbane prin implementarea managementului total al calității

Abstract


The development and modernization of cities, and the variety of offers, have led in time to a specific form of tourism – urban tourism. The growing mobility helped the development of this type of tourism in Europe. The range of activities and entertainment places, that people are looking for is extending. Diversification is due to the decisional factors that understood the necessity of promoting tourism, as a key issue for economic development that can lead to prosperity and producing new jobs. Tourism is seen as a key factor of the urban development policy that combines a competitive offer that can meet the visitors’ expectations, with a positive contribution to the development of cities and residents. Taking into consideration the necessity of promoting the urban tourism destinations, the need to establish a quality mode is ever growing.
